Sirius XM “Symphony Hall” Host to Speak at The Sembrich

Vincent Caruso, one of the voices behind Sirius XM’s “Symphony Hall,” will give a studio talk at The Sembrich on June 15, 2024, at 2 PM. The talk, titled “A Kitchen, A Radio, and a Kit,” will discuss Caruso’s journey through classical music and radio. The popular satellite radio host will be joined by Joel Brown and the Finger Lakes Guitar Quartet performing arrangements for classical guitar.

“It’s an honor to welcome Vincent Caruso as part of our 100th anniversary season,” says Richard Wargo, The Sembrich’s Artistic Director. “If you have listened to Sirius XM’s classical station Symphony Hall, you’ve likely already learned a thing or two about classical music from this engaging host. We look forward to sharing his musical journey with our audiences here on Lake George, which we hope will inspire others to forge their own paths in the world of classical music and beyond.”

For over 20 years, Vincent Caruso has been a DJ for SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s Ch. 78-Symphony Hall, and the SiriusXM Pops and Classical Voices channels. Prior to that, he was on-air with Sony’s national radio format ClassicFM, WQXR-FM, and WNYC-FM. Caruso is also a professional voiceover actor, audiobook narrator and producer, and an experienced technology risk & resilience consultant.

The Finger Lakes Guitar Quartet (Joel Brown, Sten Isachsen, Brett Grigsby and Paul Quigley) recently appeared with the (Grammy Award winning) Albany Symphony in the world premiere of Evan Mack’s Forever Wild for Guitar Quartet and Orchestra.

Tickets are $38 and can be purchased here.
