2022
Summer Festival
The 2022 summer festival explored reinvention - from transcriptions and arrangements of beloved classics, to rhapsodies and variations on themes of popular composers. Following an all-outdoor season in 2021, events returned to the intimacy of the historic Sembrich Studio and others remained outdoors on the lakeshore.

In 2021, visitors gathered under the lakeside performance tent at The Sembrich’s to explore the intrinsic connection of nature and music in an all-outdoor series. Events included a variety of events including opera, chamber music, folk music, and Shakespearean theater, all performed against the backdrop of Lake George.

When the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of theaters, museums, and other cultural institutions around the globe, we turned to online platforms to share and celebrate art and music. The online programs produced for the festival became the basis of our current offerings of online programs.
