The Ugly Duckling, 2016

Seagle Festival will present the children’s opera The Ugly Duckling at The Sembrich on Friday, July 28 at 10 AM. This charming children’s opera by composer Andrew Duncan and librettist Steven Malone, will be sung in English and is appropriate for children pre-K to 6th grade.

“We are delighted to continue our annual partnership with Seagle Festival and bring the children’s opera here to Bolton Landing,” says Artistic Director Richard Wargo. “Every year, we welcome children from across the Lake George region to experience opera at The Sembrich, one of the Adirondack’s most unique operatic landmarks.”

The production is approximately 35 minutes long and will be followed by a Q&A session.

This event is generously sponsored by the Stewart’s Holiday Match and North Country Public Radio.

Admission to the event is free. Reservations are encouraged and can be made via phone at (518) 644-2431 or online at TheSembrich.org/festival.
